Finn Kirsi Viinikainen player her first international tournament in 2009 and already a short time later became part of the Finnish national team. 2020 she reached the quarterfinals of the WDF Europe Cup. The following year she won bronze in the WDF World Cup and celebrated at the Estonia Open her first tournament win. Several more wins in smaller WDF tournaments followed before her career stagnated. It took till 2019 before she won the next tournaments. Viinikainen plays since 2023 on the PDC Women's Series as well. 2024 she qualified for the first time for the WDF World Championship where she lost second round to Beau Greaves.2025 she won several WDF titles (among them the Finnish Open and the Finnish Masters title) and her first PDC Women's Series Event. By the ranking she qualified for the PDC Women's World Matchplay.
