Tom Sykes started in 2013 to play events on the PDC Challenge Tour. 2014 he played on the Development Tour and the WDF Circuit as well - all without noteworthy success.
2014 and 2016 he qualified for the PDC World Youth Championship but both times was eliminated second round. The next years he concentrated on the Amateur Darts Circuit.
2025 Sykes qualified by the amateur qualifiers for the UK Open and reached the third round. In January 2026 he took part in Q School and got his Tour Card.
