Ryan Searle played from 2011 - 2016 the BDO Circuit. 2013 he stood among the Last 16 of the Winmau World Masters - but only due to a refereeing error. His dart didn't hit the Double 10 for the win but the referee called it.
2016 Searle played the PDC Challenge Tour and ended the season on the second place of the ranking. So he got a Tour Card and joined the PDC. By the Grand Slam Qualifier 2018 he qualified for the event but was eliminated after the Group Phase. Searle had some good results on the Pro Tour in 2018 and so qualified by the Pro Tour Order of Merit for the PDC World Championship 2019 where he won through to the last 16 at his debut. His year 2019 was far less successful but he did enough to qualify for the World Championship 2020 where he lost third round to Gary Anderson. Early in 2020 Searle won his first Players Championship.
