Colin Murray was born 1977 near Belfast in Northern Ireland.
First he worked as a news correspondent. Later he joined Radio 1 as music editor and was one of the moderators of a morning show on channel 4. Since 2003 he was music moderator in a daily music program. Later he had an own late night show - the Colin Murray Show.
2009 he left Radio 1 and concentrated on Channel 5.
From 2006 on Murray moderated sports programs on channel 5 for example the live transmissions of the UEFA Cup. Since 2011 he's responsible at the BBC for the "Match of the Day"Show. Beside other sports programs he together with Bobby George commentated the BDO World Championship.
Murray still works as a journalist and as a radio moderator he worked in Canada and North America as well. He's already won several awards for his work.
