Malicdem - who seems to play darts since 1999 - first known success is reaching the last 16 of the Malaysia Open 2017. Since 2018 he plays on the PDC Asia Tour and already in his first event in the final against Royden Lam threw a nine-darter. In the end he lost this final but won two other Asia Tour events. So he stood at the end of the season among the top four of the ranking and qualified for his first PDC World Championship where he impressed with a 3:2 win over Jeffrey de Graaf. He was eliminated second round by Kyle Anderson. 2019 he represented together with Lourence Ilagan the Philippines in the PDC World Cup. 2019 was again a successful year for Malicdem on the Asian Tour and he again qualified by the ranking for the PDC World Championship. This time he will meet in the first round Austrian Rowby-John Rodriguez.
