Young American Dan Lauby, son of an as well dart playing father with the same name, was one of the successful youth players in North America. He won the ADO National Youth Championship in 2008. 2012 and 2014 he was the American qualifier for the PDC Unicorn World Yout Championship.
Since 2017 he plays on the CDC Circuit and already won a few events. 2018 he qualified for the PDC US
Masters. 2018, 2019 and 2020 Lauby played the PDC Qualifying School but so far failed to get a Tour Card.
Together with Chuck Puleo Lauby 2020 took part as Team USA in the PDC World Cup. In October 2019 Lauby
had won the CDC Continental Cup. Due to this success Lauby in the end got a place in the PDC World
Championship 2021 as due to the Corona pandemic it was not possible to organise a North American
Qualifier for the event. He lost at his debut against Ryan Searle. He returned 2022 but again lost first round.
2022 Lauby reached the semi-finals of the World Masters.
