Jerry Hendriks played as a youth and a young man for some years the BDO Circuit. 2003 he won the WDF World Youth Cup, 2010 he played himself in the Winmau World Masters under the last 16.
Since the PDC Europe organises Players Championships on the continent Hendriks took part in those played in Holland though without success.
2012 he decided himself for the PDC and took part in Qualifying School. He didn't manage to get a Tour Card but was allowed to take part in PDC Players Championships as an "Associate Member" when not all 128 Tour Card holders registered.He managed to qualify for the UK Open UK Open but he was eliminated already in Preliminary round and he was under the European qualifiers for the PDC European Tour Events 2012.
The years between 2013 and 2016 were rather poor years for Hendriks till he reappeared in November 2016 winning the West Europe Qualifier for the PDC World Championship 2017. It will be his second time on the Alexandra Palace stage.
