The young Englishman Shaun Griffiths played in the BDO since 2007. His first step into limelight was it to win the Singles of the WDF Europe Youth Cup in 2008. 2010 he won the British Teenage Open and reached the quarterfinals of the first PDC Unicorn Under 21 World Championship.
In the same year he qualified for the BDO World Championship 2011 but was defeated first round.
After the BDO World Championship Griffiths took part in the PDC Qualifying School and managed to get a Pro Tour Card. Till then he plays the PDC Pro Tour and the PDC Youth Tour. In February 2011 he won the second tournament of the Youth Tour in Barnsley.
Griffiths works as a sales assistant. He's sponsored by Sky Sports commentator John Gwynne.
