Swiss Stefan Bellmont celebrated in 2015 his first bigger success when he reached the semi-finals of the Swiss Open. Till 2019 he played mainly BDO and WDF tournaments, once qualified for the World Masters and was part of the Swiss National Team in the World Cup 2022 where he reached the Last 16. He played with some success national events as well and several times was Swiss Singles and Pairs Champion.
2019 Bellmont for the first time took part in the PDC Qualifying School but had no success. Till then he tried it again every year but so far couldn't win a Tour Card. He qualified as first Swiss player for several European Tour Events but so far only won a single match. More success he had on the PDC Challenge Tour where he won in 2022 and 2024 one event. 2022,2023 and 2024 Bellmont was part of the Swiss Team in the PDC World Cup. 2024 Bellmont won his first WDF tournament - the Helvetia Open. In November 2024 Bellmont took part in the Western Europe Qualifier for the PDC World Championship and won it. By this he qualified as the first ever Swiss for the PDC World Championship.
