Nobuhiro Yamamoto started his career in 2009 when he reached the fourth round of a local soft-dart event. Since 2012 he always can be found in the anterior places of the national ranking. 2014 he for the first time tried to qualify for the PDC World Championship but failed. 2015 and 2018 he stood in the quarterfinals of the Japan Open. Since 2019 he plays on the PDC Asian Tour but took a break during the Corona pandemic. Yamamoto returned in 2022 and won the PDC Japan Championship which counts as qualifier for the PDC World Championship. He will give his debut against Martin Lukeman.
