Scott Williams appeared 2019 at the BDO World Championship Qualifier and qualified for the BDO World
Championship 2020 but lost in the preliminary round to Justin Thompson. He took part in the PDC Qualifying
School 2020 but couldn't get a Tour Card. The same happened in 2021 again. So he played in 2020 and 2021
the Challenge Tour - his best result was a semi-final. In 2022 he tried Qualifying School again with the
same result and returned to the Challenge Tour where he won four events and headed the Challenge Tour
ranking. By this he qualified for the Grand Slam of Darts where he impressed but didn't survive the group
stage. As replacement he played several Pro Tour events and won in June one of the events. Beside he
qualified for a few European Tour Events and qualified for the Players Championship Finals where he
reached the last 16. He was successful on the BDO Circuit as well and member of the English national
team which took part with success in the EDF Europe Cup. Williams won together with Joshua Richardson
the pairs event.
By the Pro Tour Order of Merit Williams qualified for the PDC World Championship 2022/23 where he will
give his debut against Ryan Joyce.
