Van den Herik took several times without real success in the PDC World Youth Championship always losing out in the group phase before he in 2025 reached the quarterfinal. Beside he played on the PDC Development Tour and twice stood in the semi-finals. 2024 he took part without success in the PDC Qualifying School. In 2025 he played both the PDC Development Tour and the PDC Challenge Tour and on both won two events. At the end of the season he stood on place five of the Development Tour ranking. That was enough for van den Herik to qualify for the PDC World Championship 2025/26.
