Jules van Dongen was born in the Netherlands but now lives in the USA. He plays both events of the Championship Darts Circuit and WDF tournaments. His first known wins came 2020 at the Missouri St. Patrick's Day Open and at the Woody Dart Tournament. 2021 he won the CDC Matchplay in Nashville and among other WDF tournaments the Cherry Bomb International and the Seacost Open. Due to his wins he qualified as the number 11 seed for the WDF World Championship 2022.
When the tournament had to be postponed due to the Corona pandemic van Dongen took part in the PDC Qualifying School and won a Tour Card by the ranking.
He was allowed to take part in the WDF World Championship nevertheless and lost to Ryan de Vreede in the second round.
