Michelle Sossong started to play darts in 1998. Her parents, both dart players, had taken her with them to the pub.
Michelle Sossong was a quite successful youth player and two times member of the youth national team. It was not quite easy for her to settle down with the seniors but since 2005 she consistently is placed well in the German tournaments and is always ranked under the top ten of the DDV ranking.
