Tomas Seyler is one of the best known German players and he has got a lot of international experience.
Four times he was the German national champion, he was the first German participant of the World Darts Trophy and the International
Darts League and once the winner of the German Gold Cup.
Together with his team colleague and friend Andree Welge he forms a successful double.
In 2006 Seyler was offered a wildcard for the PDC World Championship and won his first round match against Alan Warriner-Little.
He again was invited in 2007 but lost first round.
As he was banned after that from national and international WDF tournaments he rarely played in 2007 but he returned in 2008
to play GDC/PDC - Europe tournament series.
In 2009 he took part in the PDC Europe Qualifications for a German place in the World Championship and defeated in the final
Michael Rosenauer. So he took part a third time. He won his Preliminary round match against the Chinese Shi Yongsheng but lost
first round to Denis Ovens.
