Japanese Motumo Sakai stared to play darts when he was 18 years old and first concentrated on soft darts especially in the Dartslive Tour. In the last few years, he can be more often found in steel-darts events as well and plays on the PDC Asian Tour. There he won in 2025 several events and qualified as second of the ranking for the PDC World Championship 2025/26.
