The young Northern Irish player Nathan Rafferty is one of the brightest young talents of the sport. He started
his career on the WDF/BDO Circuit and reached in 2015 the semi-finals of the World Masters Youth. 2016 he
started to play on the PDC Development Tour and for the first time took part without success in the PDC
Qualifying School. In 2017 he already reached three times the Last 16 on the Development Tour.
2018 he qualified for the first time for the UK Open and played himself under the Last 32. In the same year
he won his first Challenge Tour event.
In the PDC Unicron World Youth Championship he as well improved over the years. 2019 he reached the Last 8,
2020 the Last 4 and in 2021 he was the runner-up - losing in the final to Ted Evetts. 2021 was his so far best
year on the Development Tour and Rafferty celebrated several wins. By the ranking he qualified for the Grand
Slam of Darts where he played impressively and reached the Last 16.
2022 Rafferty again took part in the PDC Qualifying School and this time got his Tour Card by the ranking.
