2012 Darren Penhall appears in the list of participants of the Redcliffe Darts Open where he reaches the Last 19. He reappeared 2019 in the PDC Qualifying School but failed to get a Tour Card. He played a few Challenge Tour events but stayed without success. 2020 he returned to the Qualifying School and this time got a Tour Card by the ranking. Till then he can be found on the Pro Tour but with the exception of qualifying twice for an European Tour event he so far is without success.
