Arno Merk started his career 2010 as German Youth Champion in the DDV. 2011 he qualified for the BDO World Championship but lost first round. For a few years he took part in WDF tournaments and then disappeared 2017 from the scene.
2023 he reappeared in the PDC Europe Super League where he lost under the Last 16 against Pascal Rupprecht. 2024 he took part for the first time and without success in the PDC Qualifying School and after that played on the PDC Challenge Tour. Again he lost under the Last 16 of the Super League. Beside he qualified for the World Masters and for a first European Tour Event. 2025 Merk's results improved and he once moved up on the Pro Tour. In November he won the PDC Europe Super League and by this qualified for the PDC World Championship 2025/26.
