Canadian Ken MacNeil played for several years on the WDF/BDO Circuit before he in 2010 qualified by the North American Order of Merit for the PDC World Championship.
2012 he represented together with John Part Canada in the PDC World Cup of Darts. Team Canada lost second round against the later winning Team England Phil Taylor/Adrian Lewis. MacNeil decided to switch to the PDC and in January 2013 took part in the PDC Qualifying School. Already on the first day he won himself a Tour Card. Thanks to reaching the last 16 of two of the UK Open Qualifiers he qualified for the UK Open 2013 but lost third round to Ronnie Baxter
