Scotsman Jim McEwan already plays for many years BDO/WDF tournaments. 2013 he reached for the first time the Last 32 of the Scottish Open. 2016 he stood at the British Open in his first quarterfinal. 2017 he played for the first time the qualifier fort he BDO World Championship. In 2018 he stood in serveral Open quarterfinals before he reached his first semi-final at the Welsh Classic in 2019. 2021 he took part in the PDC Qualifying School but didn't get a Tour Card. So he played on the Challenge Tour where he won one event and several times moved up in Pro Tour events where he once threw a nine-darter and had some decent placings. Beside he still played WDF tournaments. McEwan won the Bristish Classic 2021 - his first tournament win. By this he qualified for the WDF World Championship 2022 und will give his debut against Aaron Turner.
