Belgian dart player Kim Huybrechts played the BDO circuit since 2006 before in 2011 he switched to the PDC. His biggest success in the BDO was a
place under the last 16 of the Winmau World Masters 2009.
Since 2010 Huybrechts takes part in the PDC Pro Tour Events organised by the PDC Europe. 2010 he for the first time reached a quarterfinal, 2011
he reached the semi-final in Vienna and managed to qualify for the European Championship. He played himself into the quarterfinals where he lost
against Adrian Lewis.
By his good performance he qualified through the Players Championship Order of Merit for the PDC World Championship 2012.
Huybrechts comes from an in Belgium well-known family of dart players, his older brother is quite successful as well and both together played
several times in the Belgian national team. Kim would like to play the complete PDC circuit and to become a full time pro one day.
