Fin Teemu Harju started 2007 his career as youth player on the WDF Circuit but was 2012 as well the Scandinavian qualifier for the PDC World Youth Championship. After he had taken part without success in the World Masters 2013 he took a break. Around ten years later in 2022 he returned as part of the Finnish nation team and played himself into the final of the WDF Europe cup. Beside he started to take part in PDC Nordic and Baltic events and qualified 2024 for the first time for a European Tour event. In the same year he was nominated for the first time for the PDC World Cup, but together with Marko Kantele didn't survive the group phase. That happened again in 2025. He qualified for some more European Tour events and won his first two Pro Tour events of the PDC Nordic and Baltic Tour. He ended the season on the second place of the PDC Nordic and Baltic Ranking and by this qualified for the PDC World Championship 2025/26.
