Icelander Hallgrimur Egilsson darts as a hobby whith which he started in 1994 in his breaks at his workplace. 2016 he was the Iceland Champion but he has not much international experience though he took part in the WDF Europe Cup 2011. 2023 he stayed without success in the PDC Qualifying School. Egilsson plays on the Nordic and Baltic Tour of the PDC and qualified 2023 by the Nordic and Baltic Tour Order of Merit as highestranked Icelander for the PDC World Cup where he will give his debut together with his practice partner Vitor Charrua.
