Welshman David Davies played 2006 a first Pro Tour Event und after that took a break before he reappeared 2015 at the Czech Open. 2024 and 2026 he took part without success in the PDC Qualifying School and played after both on the PDC Challenge Tour and in WDF tournaments. He is part of the Welsh national team. 2025 he won a first Challenge Tour event and moved up in several Pro Tour events. Beside he won the Irish Open and was part of the winning Welsh team in the WDF World Cup.
By winning the Irish Open Davies qualified for the WDF World Championship 2025. He as well won the British-Irish Tour Card Holder & Associate Member Qualifier for the PDC World Championship 2025/26 and decided to take part in the PDC World Championship.
