Young Irish Robyn Byrne is one of the most successful Irish players. 2014 she won both the WDF Europe Cup Youth singles and together with Leeah Fox. In the same year she
as well won the girls event of the World Masters (beating Beau Greaves in the final). 2015 she played for a short time on the PDC Development Tour but concentrated mostly
on BDO/WDF tournaments. When the PDC founded the PDC Women's Series in 2020 Byrne immediately joined it and reached in 2020 her first final. 2023 she won her first title
and qualified for the Women's World play where she lost to Beau Greaves in the final. As well in 2023 she was part of the Irish national team which won the WDF World Cup.
2024 Byrne won the singles of the WDF Europe Cup and a second Women's Series title. 2025 she so far reached two Women's series finals and qualified again for the Women's World Matchplay in Blackpool.
