Steve Brown is an English-borne but now in America living dart player. His father Ken Brown was in the 1970's a well-known dart player as well and he was the first player to play in an international match between Great Britain and the USA.
Steve Brown started to play in league when he was 13 years old. Later he played county for Surrey before he became Team Captain of the London A-team. This position had been held in previous years by Cliff Lazarenko and Eric Bristow. He played quite successful for the BDO though never qualified for the World Championship.
1994 he was invited to join the PDC and though living in America appeared at every PDC World Championship between 1994 and 2004 and in some other PDC Major tournaments. His most successful run he had in the inaugural World Championship - he won the third place.

After 2005 Brown decided to play only ADO/WDF tournaments. He still plays the North American dart circuit with some successand earns his living as a dart player.
He is now an ADO official.
On the ADO homepage Brown just started to publish a blog. He kindly allowed us to use it for Global Darts!!
