The very talented Irish youth player Keane Barry, who threw his first darts when he was four years old, played both PDC and BDO tournaments and reached in 2017 and 2018 the final of the boys world Masters before he finally won it in 2019. He is so far the only youth player ever who reached the final three times. Beside he won in 2019 International Open of the JDC and the final of the Tom Kirby Irish Matchplay. By this he qualified for the PDC World Championship where he lost First Round to Vincent van der Voort. Barry reached the semi-finals of the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship 2019 and stood in the final of the JDC World Championship 2019 and the final of the BDO World Youth Championship 2020 - he won both events. During a Development Tour event in 2019 he threw a nine-darter. 2020 Barry took part in Qualifying School without success and after that played on the Development Tour, the Challenge Tour and from time to time moved up on the Pro Tour. By the Development Tour Order of Merit he qualified for the PDC World Championship 2021 as second in the ranking and secured himself a Tour Card as well.
