Not much is known about Japanese Ryusei Azemoto who appeared 2023 in the semi-finals of the PDC Asian Championship where he lost to Philippine Sandro Eric Sosong. Since 2024 Azemoto plays on the PDC Asian Tour. He won several events and by this qualified for the PDC World Cup of Darts and the PDC World Championship 2024/25. Team Japan Azemoto/Goto didn't survive the group phase of the World Cup and Azemoto lost in the first round of the World Championship to Wesley Plaisier. The year 2025 was very similar and again Azemoto qualified due to several wins on the Asian Tour for the PDC World Cup. Together with Tomoya Goto Team Japan again was eliminated after the group phase. Azemoto as well qualified for the PDC World Championship 2025/26.
Azemoto takes part in WDF events as well. In 2025 he won the Selangor Open and in the WDF World Cup he reached together with Yuichiro Ogawa the pair's semi -finals and with the team the final.
