Japanese Seigo Asada played on the BDO/WDF circuit between 2012 and 2017. 2012 and 2014 he won the Japan Open. 2014 he reached the last eight of the Winmau World Masters. Asada qualified for the BDO World Championship 2015 but lost first round against Englishman Brian Dawson. Asada was back in Lakeside 2016 but lost in the Last 32. 2017 he qualified for a third time for the BDO World Championship but lost in the preliminary round. By winning the Japanese Championship in 2017 he qualified for the PDC World Championship 2018 and reached the first round where he lost to Rob Cross. Asada plays on the PDC Asia Tour and qualified with three wins for the PDC World Championship 2019 again and this time reached the second round. He qualified again by the PDC Asia Tour for the PDC World Championship 2020 - this time he lost third round to Peter Wright. Asada took part in the PDC Qualifiying School 2020 but failed to secure himself a Tour Card.
