|Participants Qualifying School|
The PDC Qualifying School consists of four tournaments. By Qualifying School at leat 31 Tour Cards for the PDC Pro Tour are allocated. All the semifinalsts
of the four tournaments get one, the other 15 will go to participants in Qualifying School over a special Qualifying School Point Ranking - the Qualifying
School Order of Merit.
The Tour Cards got by the Qualifying School are valid for two years. Only when you have got a Tour Card you are able to play the PDC Players Championship
in the UK.
You will not need one to be able to play Non-UK Players Championships or UK Open Qualifiers. By taking part in Qualifying School without winning a Tour Card you'll
get an "Associate Member". With associate members the field of participants of the players Championships is filled up should less of 128 Tour Card
To take part in the Qualifying School you have to pay a fee of 200 pound. Should you get yourself a card the money will be part of the PDPA membership fee for
the first year. You have to be at least 16 years of age.
Every dart player can take part in the Qualifying School, by taking part you are not binded in any way - but should you get a Tour Card and want to take it
you have to become a PDPA member and sign a contract with the PDC.
It is not known how the BDO will react to players who took part in the Qualifying School, failed and then want to play the BDO circuit nor what
will happen to BDO players taking part, fail and want to return to the BDO. The BDO never made a statement.

The four Pro Tour cards of the fourth day of the qualifying school were won by Royden Lam from Hong Kong and the English players Steve Coote, Joey Palfreyman and Kevin McDine who threw a nine-darter
in his last match.
To fill up the Tour Card field to 128 players the last Cards were handed out according the Qualifying School ranking to: Martyn Turner, David Pallett, Dan Russell, Edwin Max, Paul Amos, Ryan de Vreede, Kirk Shepherd, Kevin Dowling and Darren Johnson.
