World Matchplay 2015 - Day 2
We have a double header of darts action from Blackpool today!
It was a fairly lacklustre start to the World Matchplay. Klassen was awful but Whitlock did play well despite having it all pretty much his own way. Huybrechts took a while to get going and by the time he did it was too late.Boris Becker made an interesting observation at Wimbledon this year. He revealed the secret of being a Champion was to generate aggression and adrenalin but only to the point where you remained calm and focused. Now this is a lot harder than it sounds but it is something that Kim should reflect on over the next few weeks. Although in Kim's case the opposite is true. He needs to move from too calm and focused to more aggressive.
Kim definitely plays better when he shows some outward bursts of aggression. He was at pains to paint the picture of being the quiet boy from Belgium last night as opposed to the brash colourful showmanship of Peter Wright. That's fine but Huybrechts then played the part like a fine method actor, but that style just does not work for him on the oche. He was far too subdued at the start of the match and paid the price.

Ian White is always under-rated on his 180 ability so you may like the look of him at 11/8 to beat Bunty in this particular duel.
