Christian Kist started to play darts in 2009 in BDO/WDF tournaments and local tournaments. 2011 he reached the last 16 of the World Masters and
qualified for the BDO World Championship 2012. There he caused a sensation as he won the tournament. In the same year he was member of the
national team which won the WDF Europe Cup and he won together with Jan Dekker the men's pairs as well. 2012 stayed so far Kist's most
successful year.
2014 Kist switched to the PDC and got a Tour Card in Qualifying School. He reached the last 16 of the UK Open and qualified for a few
European Tour Events and was nominated 2015 "Newcomer of the Year". 2016 he for the first time took part in the PDC World Championship but
lost second round. In the Players Championship Finals he reached the quarter finals - his so far biggest succes in the PDC. In the following
years he had a lot of health problems due to gout and lost his Tour Card. Since 2020 he plays on the PDC Challenge Tour as he didn't manage
to get his Tour Card back. He stood in some finals, qualified for a few European Tour events and moved up in several Pro Tour events. He used
this chances and qualified by the Pro Tour Order of Merit for the Players Championship Finals 2023 and the PDC World Championship 2023/24.
