PDC Home Tour - Group 24

Hughes wins Group 24
As commanding as Daniel Larsson on the day before Jamie Hughes won Group 24. He won his three matches.

Jamie Hughes - who admitted he didn't practice much in the last weeks to cure his elbow injury -started his evening with the preponed match against Krzysztof Ratajski. Despite a miscalculation in one leg when he finished 92 though he had 92 points left, he unimpressed defeated the Pole with 5:2. With the same result he won against Darius Labanauskas who finally found a way to set up his scoreboard. That was a good basis for the group win. He had a lot more problems with Toni Alcinas in his last group match. Both players had some problems to hit their doubles. But in the deciding leg Hughes had the throw and he used that advantage and won match and group with a 108 finish.
Krzysztof Ratajski won two of his matches - he defeated Toni Alcinas and Darius Labanauskas both with 5:3. Darius Labanauskas who had problems both with the technique and the English language won one of his matches - he defeated Toni Alcinas with 5:0. Toni Alcinas who scored quite well had a lot of double trouble and couldn't win a match.

On night 25 of the Home Tour Keegan Brown will get a second chance. His connection broke down during the first attempt and he couldn't be reconnected. Beside him Robert Thornton, Reece Robinson and Jose de Sousa will contest.
