PDC Europe Start

"PDC Europe Start" is a new tournament series from PDC Europe, set to launch its inaugural season on August 3, 2026.
It is designed to serve as a follow-up to the Next Gen Super League, facilitating the transition of talented players into professional competition.

The tournaments will be held directly at participating clubs, which must meet specific requirements to take part.

The series is divided into eight regions:

Germany - North, South, West (including Luxembourg), East
Austria - West, East
Switzerland - West, East (including Liechtenstein)

Tournaments are scheduled to take place at the clubs at least once a week over a ten-week period. This will be followed by regional finals featuring the top 32 players from the regional rankings. The regional champions will compete for four spots in the Super League and all qualify for a new PDC major tournament.
Prizes include passes for the Next Gen season and Next Gen weekend passes, as well as a total prize fund of ?40,000.
Rankings are determined by a points system based on each player's ten best results, with points awarded as follows:
  • 2 points for participating in a ranking tournament
  • 18 points for qualifying for the knockout stage, plus 20 points for each knockout stage victory
  • 30 points for winning a tournament
  • Bonus points for special achievements (e.g., short legs, high scores, or high finishes)

Tournament entry costs ?6, and players must be members of PDCE Start. The membership fee is ?10 per season.
Participants must be at least 12 years old. Players must be at least 16 years old to compete in the regional finals. Participation is open to residents of the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).

Only one tournament series is planned for 2026. Starting in 2027, three tournament series are scheduled to be held annually.
